We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial & Marketing Manager to join our client who is a distributor of marine equipment in the UK & Ireland. As Commercial & Marketing Manager  you will be responsible for driving the growth of the business through effective supplier and customer engagement, market analysis, and campaign management. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the marine equipment market. .

As the Commercial & Marketing Manager, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and purchasing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that deliver results. You must be able to travel to Portsmouth area for work

Duties and responsibilities of the Commercial & Marketing Manager:

• Work with existing suppliers to ensure their products and brand messages are effectively communicated to the market. Drive sales growth with suppliers and gather valuable market insights.         
• Identify and onboard new suppliers. Lead negotiations and ensure the integration of new products into the portfolio.           
• Conduct thorough market research, analyse customer feedback, and maintain strong relationships.      Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns in partnership with the Marketing team. Oversee content creation, monitor campaign performance, and report on key metrics.               

Qualifications and requirements for the Commercial & Marketing Manager :

• Understanding of the marine equipment industry, or an ability to quickly learn about the market trends, products, and customer preferences within this sector. 
• Experience within a commercial marketing role    
• Able to travel, the role will be within the Portsmouth area         
• Worked with  digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
