The below job description will outline this position of: Customer Contract Manager / Contract Manager / Marine Contract Manager

Typically, this person will be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of customer service orders, customer contracts including technical and commercial aspects from cradle to grave for UK and overseas service orders and contracts. You will take the initial enquiry, credit check, price up the job, quote the work, chase and convert the order, be the customer interface and look after the engineer sent to do the work, upon completion of job configure the cost of overtime and send this to the client followed by chasing payment (if payment needs chasing).

Duties and responsibilities of the Customer Contract Manager / Contract Manager / Marine Contract Manager:

* You will: Manage all aspects of the orders (this is the contract) from planning through to final invoicing

* Compile detailed quotations & tender approval documents showing cost and margin

* Process customer and supplier or contractor orders and the coordination of all relevant work activities between internal or external customers, sub-contractors and field engineers

* Identify and develop processes to support the contract flowing, identify and manage the spare parts required and sub-contract supply for order activities

* Responsible for internal and external customer communication from conception to completion of the contract

* You might need to attend customer sites as and when required

* Cost management of the contracts

* Prepare final costing and invoice

* Implement QHSE standard in order activities

* Maintain orders job register and provide weekly reporting to the business

Qualifications and requirement for the Customer Contract Manager / Contract Manager / Marine Contract Manager:

* A good understanding of a Field Service Business

* Be able to demonstrate order / contract management for field / customer service contracts

* Ideally – Be a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of related experience, preferably within the marine engine sector

* Be commercially aware

* SAP Knowledge/proficient

* Proficient with the MS Office package

Essential:

* Passport
