Typically, this person will be a marine experienced electrical design engineer, confident in leading a team.

Duties and responsibilities of the Lead Electrical Design Engineer:
• Manage the Electrical Design Change Request (DCR) process for specific ranges.
• Ensure accurate 2D electrical schematics and panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 2D CAD electrical information tailored to production needs.
• Collaborate with Electrical Designers and the Electrical Manager to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to the client’s design standards for electrical systems.
• Coordinate closely with Electrical, Engineering, and Joinery departments.
Qualifications and requirement for the Lead Electrical Design Engineer:
• In-depth knowledge of Marine AC & DC electrical systems, materials, and techniques
• A design-related degree or equivalent electrical design experience
• Experience with marine lighting systems and system integration
• Good knowledge of electrical installation phases for small craft production
• Time served experience managing a dedicated team
