Typically, this person will be responsible for their own team and supervision of the build on the specified department ensuring the smooth running of the production process.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Engineering Team Leader:
* Maintaining a healthy and clean work environment by educating the team on the use of all control points, equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies procedures and audits.
* Planning daily activities, holding start of shift briefing and managing, developing and motivating the team
* Taking responsibility of the shift in terms of managing the team, managing production and quality targets and ensuring the smooth running of the production processes.
* Taking responsibility of the quality of the product that is produced in line with the company’s quality processes and procedures.
* Controlling the appropriate kits / materials when issued to the department.
* Maintaining appropriate housekeeping standards within the department.
* Managing manpower within the department, including labour requirements to meet demands, upskilling and approval of holidays and timesheets.
Qualifications and requirements requested for the Engineering Team Leader:
* To co-ordinate and supervise the build of the boat in the specified department, ensuring the smooth running of the production process, that all work is produced to the required standards and specifications within the required deadlines.
* Attending meetings that may be necessary in the performance of your duties
* Complying with and upholding Company policies and procedures
* Undertaking any additional tasks as may be required from time to time.
