The below job description will outline this position of: Hardware Engineer

HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the (insert job title):

  • You will: Work closely with software, RF, and other hardware engineers
  • Simulate high speed digital circuits and assess signal integrity of designed solutions
  • Design schematics, reference board layout, and initial board bring-up
  • Write, execute and debug tests from test-plans or functional specifications
  • Work in a small team of smart and dedicated people in a startup-like environment to develop scalable prototypes for developing world applications
  • Engage vendors to ensure products meet specifications
  • Installing, configuring and upgrading software, using standard business and administrative packages
  • Expert knowledge of creating schematics
  • Experienced in HW integration
  • Experience with working with advanced test equipment and measurement systems
  • Experience with high speed signalling, EMC and FPC design
  • Good understanding of debugging

Qualifications and requirement for the (insert job title):

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Familiarity with PCIe systems, SPI, USB (desirable)
  • Familiarity with UART Power supplies, RF, Signal integrity, Ethernet, C, Layout, Cadence Allegro (desirable)
