The below job description will outline this position of: Marine Engine Field Service Engineer
Typically, this person will be responsible for diagnosing and providing detail to enable a quote to customer for works. You will also service, repair, overhaul and maintain these engines either on a vessel or oil rig.

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Engine Field Service Engineer:
* You will: Travel to a UK based Vessel alongside/in dock or an oil rig offshore
* Diagnose, Maintain, Overhaul, Install, Commission or Repair Main Engines and Generators used in the Marine & Oil & Gas environment
* Identify and request the parts required to carry out the works on the engines
* Ability to read / interpret electrical & mechanical diagrams
* Full report writing, and regular feedback to management
* Company representation at customer sites is essential
Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Engine Field Service Engineer:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ideally NVQ Trained engineer
* Ability to travel at a moments notice
