HSB Technical’s Power & Propulsion team have a number of vacancies for multiple businesses covering the UK and overseas.
I am actively looking to assist a UK based client source there next hire, this being a service engineer. Working as the service engineer, you be responsible for the mechanical technical support to all customers, distributors and service agents covering the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. This support will include scheduled servicing and maintenance as well as emergency breakdown cover as required.
HSB Technical’s client base is global – our clients are well established and well-regarded within the Power & Propulsion sector.
Responsibilities (Brief Outline):
Key Points;
* Provide both on site and remote technical support
* Provide inspection reports
* On customer acceptance and approval complete refurbishment works in a timely manner
* Detail the refurbishment requirements with recommended parts replacement and costs
* Fault finding activity required as appropriate
* Provide training for on the product using PowerPoint documents and hands on training sessions
Knowledge/Skills Required:
* Hydraulics, Pneumatics and mechanical controls
* Ability to travel the UK and overseas
* Excellent report writing
* Ability to read mechanical / hydraulic / electrical drawings
Qualifications:
* Passport
* Full Driving Licence
* A Recognised engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification.
