We here at HSB Technical Ltd are currently looking for a new colleague to join our small but mighty team.

Our focus and vision for this person (you) is for you to take over, build on and develop our national and international Shipping division. No doubt it will be a challenge, and hey, if you’re not up for a challenge – this role is not for you. So, are you a driven, enthusiastic go-getter who doesn’t shy away from a phone call and has the want to re-build something from somewhere?

Our team can assist you create your own desk off the back of our warm clients, doing this by using our inhouse systems and database of candidates enabling you to either build a name or grow yourself further, giving you the open door to uncapped commission with no minute management. So, working as the Shipping Consultant, you will:

  • The Sell (with all things in-between) “Sell our services, build long lasting relationships, account manage, problem solve and finally, be you”
    • Account Managing Existing Clients
    • New Business Sales
    • Cross-Selling The Divisions Within Our Business
    • Divisional Marketing
    • Negotiate Commercial Terms
    • Take Detailed Job Information
    • Attend Client Visits Anywhere Across The UK / Overseas
    • Attend Exhibitions & Trade Shows
    • Offer Internal Training Where And When Needed
  • The Search / Recruit (with all things in-between) “You will identify, attract, shortlist and qualify candidates for the positions you are working on”
    • Candidate Searching Using:
    • Our Inhouse Database
    • Online Subscriptions
    • Media Platforms
    • Calling Candidates Sourced, Qualifying & Either Closing Or Sending To Our Clients For Review
    • Act As A Client Representative When Selling The Client And The Job
    • Advertising Positions And Responding To Applications
    • Hustling Within The Industry, Make A Name People Want To Call
    • Divisional Marketing
    • Provide pre-employment and compliance checks

We have a specialist inhouse system which, well – it’s another system which will take some time to learn which is why we suggest people work for the first 3 months in the office to all new starters – this will enable you to learn our systems, blend with the team and learn more about us.
