The below job description will outline this position of: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager:

We are looking for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a fast expanding engineering  company based  in Andover, as a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will focus on driving sales and growing condition monitoring product range. As a full 360 Sales Manager/Business Development Manager to will help driving the products success across multiple sectors, travel around the territory will be required 

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining a CRM database   
• Set and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory  
• Manage the entire sales life cycle, from lead generation to deal closure  
• Coordinate and oversee all sales activities in the region, defining strategy with the Group Sales & Marketing Director.  
• Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
• Occasionally support sales efforts in other regions as needed  

Qualifications and requirement for the Sales Manager:

• Sales-Driven: A proactive mindset, motivated by achieving targets and excelling in cold calling, client meetings, and business pitches. 
• Industry Knowledge: Proven experience selling similar products or services; background in sales & marketing within the distribution, manufacturing, or related services sectors is advantageous.
• Must hold a full UK drivers license and be able to travel as required 
• Must be able to  travel and work within the Andover office, when not on client visits
