This person could be a: Marine Electrical Engineer, Marine Electrician, ETO, Ships Electrician, Vessel Electrical Engineer
This role focuses specialises in vessel maintenance and industrial electrical systems. You will apply expertise in 12V & 24V DC, 230V & 400V AC distribution and control systems, ensuring efficient installation and maintenance. Proficiency in BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Electricity at Work Regulations enables you to troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and mechanical systems. You will perform scheduled maintenance and be available for overtime as needed.

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Engineering Technician (Electrical) based in Kent:
* Proficient in Vessel and Industrial electrical distribution and control systems (12V & 24V DC, 230V & 400V AC)
* Skilled in electrical fitting, installation, and maintenance.
* Familiar with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Electricity at Work Regulations.
* Capable of working in confined spaces or climbing ladders as and when required.
* Use diagnostic and analytical skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and mechanical systems.
* Perform scheduled maintenance and be available for overtime as needed.
Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Engineering Technician (Electrical) based in Kent:
* HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Required to travel to site in Gravesend, Kent.
