The below job description will outline this position of: Manufacturing Engineer – Manager
Typically, this person will oversee the Manufacturing Engineer team to support production and operations with current production, new model introduction and improvement (SQDC). They will provide support for all lines and internal departments within operations.

Duties and responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer – Manager:
• Day to day management and development of the ME team (recruitment, direction & target setting, development and training)
• Creation and oversight of the ME plan for support to operations (Projects and Initiatives)
• Creation, execution and delivery of improvement projects (SQDC)
• Support for Operations (Analysis – Hours, Lost time, quality data, etc…)
• Implementation of new operations standards
Qualifications and requirement for the Manufacturing Engineer – Manager:
• Manufacturing or Production Engineering experience within a manufacturing business
• Project Planning and Project management skills
• Engineering qualifications
• Experience of managing a team, motivating and developing people
