The below job description will outline this position of: Electrical fitter
Typically, this person will be a skilled electrical fitter, who has worked on naval vessels previously and has current SC Clearance.
HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical fitter:
• Read/Interpret Electrical Drawings and Guidance information.
• Install various types of Electrical Equipment such as motors, starters, control panels, internal and external comms.
• Fault diagnosis and defect rectification.
• Carry out Electrical Testing.
• Execute various crimping techniques. ERMA, Gold pin.
• Install Cable Support Systems. Cable Tray/Basket/Conduit/Hangers
Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical fitter:
• Minimum of NVQ level 3 or Apprenticeship Qualification or equivalent experience
• Current security clearance
• Marine experience
