We are looking for a Welder for one of our maritime clients.
Typically, this person will Be Welder
HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Welder:
• Minimum welder requirement MIG up to 12mm plate.
• MMA up to 20mm plate
• Ability to read basic drawings or instruction
• Plate burning using Oxy-Propane
• Familiar with use of workshop equipment, guillotine, steel worker, grinders and basic hand tools.
Qualifications and requirement for the Welder:
• Siteworks, assisting with installation and welding, repair hire plant, mining equipment, general steel repairs, marine repairs (vessels, piles, gangways ect)
• MIG & STICK welding experience.
• Full driving licesne
• Occasional weekend working and working away for short periods
• able to work at MOD locations, security screen required
